Coach McCarney and his staff are hosting a Junior Mean Green Football Camp for K-8 graders on Saturday, June 9, 2012, from 8 AM - 12 Noon at Apogee Stadium. The camp brochure link below has additional information about the camp.
As the Spring 7 on 7 Season begins, the Fall 2012 Registration opens up. Beginning this Fall season, we will be starting a certification process for all players. The certification process will consist of all players bringing a certified original birth certificate and most recent report card to their designated certification day. During certification, board members of the North Texas Youth Gridiron will validate all birth certificates and report cards to ensure the player is registered in the correct grade. We will also take pictures of each player and issue an ID card. The ID card will eliminate having birth certificates at each of the games. There have also been a few rule changes. Please review the rules under our league info link. The biggest change to the rules has to do with the age restrictions. We are now following UIL guidelines, which will reduce the number of players required to play up a grade level do to age. Below are the current approved dates for the Fall 2012 season.
